About this Seminar
Abby Doyle is a professor of chemical and biomolecular engineering at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Her research is focused on tackling unresolved issues in the field of organic synthesis by creating innovative catalysts, catalytic reactions, and synthetic techniques. Recently, the Doyle group has been focusing on utilizing data science to analyze chemical reactions using machine learning algorithms to model and predict reaction outcomes. Doyle has received numerous awards and honors, including the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers and the BMS Unrestricted Grant in Synthetic Organic Chemistry, in recognition of her groundbreaking work.
