In this talk, Dr. Franziska Bell will share the evolution of enterprise-scale human - AI teams, alongside corresponding examples and share her vision of the next generation of agentic-based AI.
Biography
Dr. Franziska Bell holds a PhD in theoretical chemistry from UC Berkeley and conducted postdoctoral research in approximate quantum dynamics at Caltech.
Fran held executive leadership positions at Uber, where she oversaw all horizontal data science, data analytics, and AI teams for the company, and at Toyota Research Institute, where she directed AI research divisions focused on materials science discovery and machine-assisted cognition.
Most recently, Fran served as Chief Technology Officer at BP, where she led a 4000+ person organization responsible for software engineering, data, AI, analytics, and design across all areas of the company.
Fran enjoys giving back, such as mentoring the next generation of leaders and advising tech startups in Silicon Valley.
