Yoon Park
Postdoctoral Fellow

Yoonjae (Yoon) Park is a Postdoctoral Fellow with BIDMaP in the Department of Chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley, working with Prof. Bingqing Cheng. Previously, she was a Postdoctoral Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), working with Prof. Adam Willard on understanding the electrochemical dynamics near the aqueous electrode interface. She received her Ph.D. in chemistry from UC Berkeley in 2023 under the supervision of Prof. David Limmer, where her research focused on the interplay between structural dynamics and optoelectronic properties of semiconducting materials. Prior to her doctoral studies, she earned a B.S. in chemistry and mathematics (summa cum laude) in 2016 and an M.S. in chemistry in 2018 from Sogang University, working with Prof. Bong June Sung on identifying structural motifs in glass-forming liquids.
