The Agentic AI Summit 2026 will take place August 1–2 at UC Berkeley, bringing together leading voices from academia, industry, startups, and venture to explore the future of agentic AI.

Hosted by Berkeley RDI, the summit is expected to welcome more than 5,000 in-person attendees and will feature 200+ speakers across 4 stages, along with 200+ poster presentations. The full agenda is now live.

The speaker lineup includes leaders across academia, industry, and venture, including Andrej Karpathy and Wojciech Zaremba, Co-Founders of OpenAI; Ali Ghodsi, Co-Founder and CEO of Databricks; Andrew Ng, Founder of DeepLearning.AI; Pushmeet Kohli, VP of Science at Google DeepMind; Peter Steinberger, Creator of OpenClaw at OpenAI; Martin Casado, General Partner at a16z; Alfred Lin, General Partner at Sequoia Capital; and many more.

For the BIDMaP community, the summit offers an opportunity to engage with emerging AI systems that are beginning to reshape scientific research, automation, discovery, and data-driven workflows. As agentic AI tools become more capable of planning, reasoning, using tools, and supporting complex tasks, they are increasingly relevant to the future of scientific discovery and AI-enabled materials research.

The summit will include keynotes, technical talks, panels, workshops, live demos, poster sessions, and networking opportunities across the AI ecosystem.

Early-bird pricing is available through July 5, with standard tickets priced at $399. Standard tickets increase to $499 starting July 6.
